Dream Come True’s Blue Ridge Chapter will hold its 22nd boys versus girls charity baseball/softball game at the Walnut Borough Playground at 5 p.m. on Sept. 8.

This event will feature players ages 5 to 14 from both the Northern Lehigh Softball and the Walnutport Baseball and Northern Lehigh Baseball, with proceeds being donated to children in need.

The nonprofit is asking for the help of local businesses, organizations and people or are able to donate their time or money to make this year’s game a success.

The group’s goal is to promote and enrich the lives of children who are seriously, chronically or terminally ill.

The chapter offers children the chance to hope, dream and live their fantasies.

Last year’s game raised $6,000 in donations along with a large event turnout.

There will also be a basket raffle and auction during the game.
