Snyder graduates with honors

Saranda Rose Snyder graduated magna cum laude from Salus University, Elkins Park, at commencement exercises held May 24 at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, having earned a master of science degree in speech-language pathology.

While at Salus, she completed her externship semester at Taylor Hospital in Philadelphia and Kencrest Services of Blue Bell.

A Weatherly Area High School graduate, Snyder earned a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Penn State University in 2013.

She is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi as well as the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Snyder has accepted a position and will begin her career at Rose View Center in Williamsport.

She is the daughter of Edward “Skip” and Sandy Snyder and the granddaughter of Earl “Bounce” and Rosalie Titus, all of Weatherly, and the late Arthur and Minnie Snyder of Jim Thorpe.
