Crista J. Mehringer, 43, of Stroudsburg, sustained what state police at the Fern Ridge barracks called suspected serious injuries in a crash at 1:40 p.m. July 10 at the intersection of Route 209 and Pleasant Valley Lane in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in the West End Ambulance.

Police did not reveal any details of the crash but said she was a passenger on a 2015 Harley-Davidson that was involved in the crash with a 2007 Nissan Versa driven by Jose Gonzalez, 67, of Brodheadsville. The cycle was operated by Peter N. Varrica, 55, of Stroudsburg.

Police said Gonzalez was cited by police.

Neither Varrica nor Gonzalez were injured.
