Fern Ridge state police

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported on the following incidents:

• Natan Jakubov, 42, of Brooklyn, New York, was cited for harassment after an incident at 10:30 a.m. June 17 on Foothill Road in Penn Forest Township.

The victim is a 35-year-old Albrightsville woman, who told police Jakubov struck her in the face.

• A 51-year-old Brodheadsville man was charged with aggravated assault after an incident at 10 p.m. July 11 in the parking lot of Spinelli’s/Shop Rite in Chestnuthill Township. State police said the victim is a 45-year-old Brodheadsville man. Police were summoned to the parking lot for the assault, but the assailant had left. The victim sustained serious bodily injuries from the assault.

• A window was stolen from a parked vehicle between midnight July 9 and 3 p.m. July 11 in the 2100 block of Meadow Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township. The victim is a 77-year-old Saylorsburg man.

• Police were summoned to an altercation at 1:54 p.m. July 6 along Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township, where they cited a 30-year-old man from Saylorsburg. Police said the man and a 30-year-old woman, also from Saylorsburg, were separated from a verbal argument when they arrived. They issued the citation after being told the man pushed the woman into a wall.

• Police are investigating a burglary that was reported at 2:38 p.m. July 6 in Chestnuthill Township. The victim is a 75-year-old man from the 1400 block of Rocky Mountain North, who reported two men broke into his residence and cut and stole various piping. They were seen fleeing the scene in a northward direction on an ATV pulling a trailer.

• Police investigated a burglary believed to have happened between midnight July 2 and midnight July 4 on Briar Lane in the Township. The victim is an Effort woman, who said someone gained entry to her home and stole an assortment of household goods and copper piping.

• State police said a White Haven woman is the victim of a theft caused by a wire transfer from her Social Security Direct Express Card. Police said someone stole $520 from the 46-year-old woman through the electronic action. There are no suspects.

• A vehicle was entered and damaged in Chestnuthill Township between 11:10 p.m. June 20 and 7 a.m. June 21 along Barney Lane in the township. The victim is a resident of Blairstown, New Jersey. Police said someone entered the unlocked vehicle and damaged its steering column and ignition and stole $5 in cash.

• A charge of scattering rubbish has been filed against Ramiksh Deljeet, 58, of Saylorsburg, as a result of an incident at the West End Regional Park, Merwine Hilltop Drive, Chestnuthill Township. Police were summoned at 10:08 p.m. July 7 when a pile of household waste was discovered. Police said the investigation revealed Deljeet was the last known possessor of the waste.
