Franklin Township picked up two victories in the Panther Valley 11-12-Year-Old Little League tournament recently.

FT White-Tamaqua White

Brady O’Donnell had four hits and drove in five runs to power Franklin to a 22-8 win over Tamaqua.

O’Donnell doubled among his four hits, and Aiden Rarick added three hits and drove in two runs for Franklin, which pounded out 23 hits in the game. Talan Sensinger (double, four RBIs), Austin Greene (three RBIs), Carter Birnbaum (double, three RBIs) and Dawson Keiser (double, two RBIs) all added two hits, while Noah Barndt collected three hits and scored three runs.

Ethan DiBonifazio and Parker Oswald both doubled while recording two hits apiece and scoring three runs for Tamaqua.

FT White - Tamaqua

A big second inning lifted Franklin to an 11-1 win over Tamaqua on Monday.

Austin Greene (2-for-2, RBI) doubled and scored a run as Franklin scored 10 runs in the bottom of the second to blow open a one-run game. John Light also had two hits and scored a run. Dawson Keiser and Brady O’Donnell pitched two innings apiece, combining for five strikeouts while allowing just one hit.

Denny Krell had Tamaqua’s only hit, and an RBI.
