A Carbon County business was the victim of a burglary and also the theft of a vehicle.

State police at Hazleton said troopers were called to the Hazleton Oil & Environmental Inc. property at 300 Tamaqua St., Banks Township, on Saturday at 3:37 a.m.

On scene troopers made contact with a representative of the firm who said a vehicle had been stolen. A review of video surveillance revealed that the suspect burglarized buildings at the site before stealing the vehicle. The type of vehicle stolen was not identified in the police report.
