State police at the Frackville barracks will hold sobriety checkpoints from July 12 to 28 on Schuylkill County roads.

The checkpoints are held to reduce the number of alcohol and drug related fatal and serious crashes, and to reduce the number of DUI drivers on state roads, troopers said in a press release.
