The “Let Freedom Ring” luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. July 17 at Grace Evangelical Free Church, 101 Graeff St., Cressona.

The event is sponsored by the Pottsville Christian Women’s Club. The special guest speaker will be Julie Henning, Souderton, who will present “Rags to Riches,” the story of an Amerasian child born in South Korea who was adopted by author Pearl S. Buck.

Music will be by Kayla Gherghel, of Orwigsburg. Jerry Newswanger will share nearby travel areas of interest.
