A domestic dispute in Tamaqua on Sunday led to charges for one party and jail time for the other person.

Police were called to a residence on Greenwood Street at 8:58 a.m. for a domestic in progress. They found Angela Schwartz, 38, and Renato Natal, 41, yelling and screaming at each other. Natal calmed down at the officer’s request but Schwartz continued to yell obscenities in front of several children.

A records check determined there was a warrant for Natal, issued by the Lehigh County Sheriff’s Office. Before being taken to prison to await transfer he told officers that Schwartz had kicked him in the butt.

She admitted that action and was cited for harassment.
