LCCC Holds EMT Classes

Lehigh Carbon Community College will hold Emergency Medical Technician training programs for people who are likely to respond to pre-hospital emergencies or those considering a medical career. Minimum age of 16 is required.

Upon successful completion, students 18 years or older will be eligible to test for the National Registry EMT credential.

It is recommended that interested candidates attend the free information sessions for the desired class location.

Acceptance into the EMT program is selective and is based on minimum competency in reading and math assessments conducted at the class site. Additional requirements include the submission of a physician release form and proof of medical insurance.
