A Dauphin County driver was cited following a two-vehicle crash that occurred around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Aristes and Little Mountain roads in Union Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said James S. Facinelli, 68, of Elizabethville, was driving a 2009 Cadillac CTS westbound on Aristes Road and stopped for a stop sign at the intersection. He then pulled out with the front bumper of his vehicle striking the left rear wheel of a 2002 Acura RSX which was being operated southbound on Little Mountain Road by Brian Wowak, 39, of Ringtown.

Upon impact the Acura spun 260-degrees and came to rest in the southbound lane. The Cadillac came to rest at the point of impact. No one was injured but both vehicles had to be towed.

Troopers cited Facinelli for stop sign and yield sign violation.
