We asked “Where do you want to be in 10 years and what are you doing to achieve that goal?”

Kiah MurphyCCTI“I’m going to be a teacher in 10 years. The decisions I’m making today are definitely going to help me. This school gave me all the confidence and self esteem I need to be a teacher.”
Gunner SanchezCCTI“I see myself becoming somebody who actually strives for something, achieving what I’ve always wanted to. I will never stop. Especially with having my success at Carbon Career and Technical Institute, I will keep moving forward and never give up.”
Daisy McCartyJim Thorpe“In 10 years, I see myself traveling outside the country, trying to explore what is going on around the world. The decisions I’m making now won’t necessarily lead me there as fast as 10 years, but my goal is to keep pushing myself so I can get there.”
Jeremy VanaukenJim Thorpe“In 10 years, I’ll probably still be serving in the U.S. Air Force, hopefully. I’m also looking forward to something beyond that. Right now, I’m going to go to college and get a degree in chemistry so I can move forward into what I want to do.”
Lily FaschingLehighton“I would like to design and build roller coasters. My goal would be to work for Intamin. They designed Storm Runner and Fahrenheit in Hershey, and Possessed in Dorney Park.”
Kyle StrohlLehighton“In 10 years, I hope to have graduated college with a master’s degree and be working in the criminal justice field. I mostly enjoy the interaction with people and look forward to helping them get out of certain situations.”

Madison DembinksiMarian Catholic“I really want to go to graduate school and become a vet. Right now, I plan on going to Delaware Valley and majoring in animal science, so that was the goal, to major in something that would help me reach that.”

Jessica SchneiderPleasant Valley“I want to be a CPA in New York City working in the business industry.My goal is to get a 4.0 in school (Kutztown). I am going on a full-tuition scholarship so I don’t have to worry about that and I can concentrate on school.”

Christina DaceyPanther Valley“Finishing medical school, hopefully having my boards completed and starting a career as a neurologist. I’m going to Moravian for neuroscience and psychology on a pre-med track.”

Carley SkinnerTamaqua“I want a nice home. I’m thinking about doing day care. Right now I’m living with my mom, and saving money.”
Austin KoslopWeatherly“Having my own law firm and living somewhere warmer, like Florida. I’ve started taking practice LSAT tests, but I have to worry about four years of college for my general eds.”
