In regard to the article in the Times News about the replacement of the supervisor of operations for Lehighton School District, I did not see an advertisement for the open position in the newspaper. I would also like to know if it was legal? It did not say in the article if there were any other applicants for the position. Other school districts in the area advertise for open positions in the district. Why was this practice not followed? Or was it politics?

I would also like to thank Director David Bradley for questioning Lehighton’s administration on the experience for the position. Keep up the great job, Mr. Bradley, you are doing as a school director. You were elected by the taxpayers for the good of the district.
