The 2018 McDonald’s Lehigh Valley All-Star Football Classic is slated for Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. at Nazareth’s Andrew Leh Stadium.

The game features high school all-stars from teams in Lehigh, Carbon, Monroe and Northampton counties, as well as players from Phillipsburg (NJ) and Palisades high schools. The Lehigh, Carbon and Monroe county players will suit up for the Red team, while the Northampton County, Phillipsburg and Palisades players will make up the Gold Team.

Nine Times News area players will take part in the game — all of them playing for the Red team.

They include wide receiver Mike Brown and wide receiver Samir Hoxha from Pleasant Valley; linebacker Tekoah Guedes and offensive lineman Kyle Kralik of Palmerton; defensive back Cody Scherer and offensive lineman Dane Frantz of Lehighton; defensive back Phil Dangello and kicker Hunter Miller of Northwestern; and defensive lineman Brandon Dye of Northern Lehigh.
