Two Northwestern players were recently named to the Colonial League First Team all-star squad.

Senior Trevor Schreiner was selected to one of the outfield spots, while junior Derek Holmes was the choice at third base.

In addition to those two, Northwestern had two others make the Second Team. They included senior catch Tyler Wiik and freshman shortstop Rafe Perich.

Three Palmerton players (catcher Tanner Burnett, third baseman Tekoah Guedes, and shortstop Ben Serfass) were named as honorable-mention selections, while a pair of Tigers (first baseman Austin Stasko and outfielder Jacon Haas) were also honorable-mention choices.

Southern Lehigh catcher Niko Amory received the league’s MVP honors.
