Nicholas Allen Deebel, Hummelstown, received his doctor of medicine degree on May 11 from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He received his B.S. from Juniata College in 2014.

Deebel will complete his residency in urology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

He is the son of Mark and Suzanne Deebel, also of Hummelstown; the grandson of James and Lorraine Deebel, of Lehighton; and the grandson of Jeanette and the late Paul Shurow of Quakertown.
