The Birches posted a legion win on Wednesday, while Berlinsville dropped its contest.

Roseto-Birches

The Birches scored in every inning but one en route to an 11-3 NorCo Legion win over Roseto.

Cameron Lawson had three hits, one a double, and knocked in a pair of runs to lead the Birches’ offense. Gabe Masker and Evan Bond each added two RBIs for the winners, who pulled away with three runs in both the third and fourth innings. Masker also scored a pair of runs.

Jordan Mount tossed 5 2/3 innings to gain the victory. Mount allowed two runs while striking out six.

The Birches are now 2-2.

Braves-Orioles

Berlinsville dropped a 6-1 Blue Mountain League contest to the Orioles.

Cody Krupa (Northern Lehigh graduate) had two hits for the Braves (3-7), who also received multiple hits from Kyle Buchman and Andrew Roth.

Chris Burke added a hit and a run scored, while Jake Augustus (Northwestern) chipped in with a hit.

Lehighton grad Josh Kern suffered the loss, pitching 3 2/3 innings.
