School’s out for the summer, which means it’s time for Tamaqua’s East End Park Association to start up its “Movies in the Park” program.

The first event will be held this Wednesday in the park on Mountain Avenue, Tamaqua. The first presentation will be “Ferdinand.” The movie will begin around 8:30 p.m.

There is no admission fee. The concession stand will open at 7:30 p.m.

Moviegoers are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
