A Summit Hill man has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by the Summit Hill Police Department:

At 8:35 p.m. May 1, police went to North Poplar Street in the borough to conduct a follow-up to a previous investigation.

Upon the homeowner permitting police to enter the residence, an officer saw Julio Diaz-Ayala, 25, of the 400 block of East Ridge Street, seated in a chair with a black pipe with burned marijuana residue on the table next to him.

Diaz-Ayala admitted the pipe was his.

He was charged and expected to have a preliminary hearing at 2:45 p.m. June 20 before District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek of Lansford.
