parking dispute

A parking dispute between Tamaqua neighbors resulted in one of them being charged with harassment and parking in front of a fire hydrant.

Danielle M. Fulton, 30, of 330 Hazle St., was cited for parking in front of a hydrant near her home on May 2. She told the officer she had to park there because neighbors were parked in front of her house.

The next day, May 3, the neighbors contacted police at 6:30 p.m. to report that Fulton was harassing them about parking spaces. At one point, she approached them as they were in their vehicle, yelling they weren’t allowed to park in front of her house.

Fulton told police she did speak to the couple, telling them not to park near her house as she “wanted to park there.” She was advised that public parking spaces are not reserved and cited for harassment.
