Robert Bonetsky Jr., 57, of Iron Street, Lehighton, was arrested by Summit Hill police on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to an incident at 7:32 p.m. May 4 in the area of Panther Valley High School on Route 209.

Police said they were called to the scene to check on the welfare of a man in the area and found Bonetsky in distress and having a difficult time walking.

Bonetsky gave police consent to search a bag he had in his possession, at which time police located a small hand purse that contained a glass pipe.

Police said Bonetsky was taken into custody and taken to the police station where he provided a written statement to police confirming the pipe belonged to him.
