Volunteers are needed for an outreach event in Lansford aimed at people who are homeless or in need.

Valor Clinic Foundation will hold a stand down in Lansford on Saturday. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at American Fire Company No. 1.

The services available at the event will include a mobile clothing closet, food pantry and soup kitchen to assist veterans and the Lansford community. St. Luke’s, Feed the People of Lansford, Veteran’s Affairs. the St. Vincent de Paul Society and CareerLink will also be on hand providing services.

Volunteers can help with setup, donating meals, hanging posters and visiting shelters/meal centers.
