A Lansford man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash Wednesday in Weisenberg Township.

David Shaver, 58, was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday after the vehicle he was driving struck a building at the intersection of Werley’s Corner Road and Holben’s Valley Road around 5:48 p.m., according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s office.

A cause of death is pending further investigation.

State police at Fogelsville are investigating along with the coroner’s office.
