Palmerton Police Department reported on the following incidents:

Disorderly conduct: Jason McFarland, 41, Palmerton, was charged with simple assault, persistent disorderly conduct, and disorderly conduct, for an incident April 11 in the 500 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Possession of drug paraphernalia: Christopher Schaeffer, 44, Palmerton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident April 2 in the 100 block of Avenue A.

Maximum gross weight: Javier Franco-Hoyos, 52, Kenvil, New Jersey, was charged with maximum gross weight, for an incident April 16 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Santos Amaya, 37, Elizabeth, New Jersey, was charged with maximum gross weight, for an incident April 16 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued seven citations each for speeding and vehicle violations, as well as two for traffic violations.
