One man was injured this morning when involved in a crash along Route 209 in Mahoning Township.

The crash occurred near 7:30 a.m. as he was traveling up the Mansion House Hill from Jim Thorpe to Lehighton.

He lost control swerving to the right slamming into the rock wall of the mountain.

He was treated and transported from the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance. Lehighton fire police maintained traffic control at the scene.

Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
