A two-vehicle crash in Lehigh County on Tuesday involved two Carbon County drivers.

State police at Fogelsville said the crash occurred at 8:52 p.m. at the intersection of Route 309 and Mountain Road in Lynn Township.

Troopers said Daniel P. Farrell, 32, of Lehighton, was driving a 2006 Kia Sportage on Mountain Road and failed to stop for a posted stop sign, His vehicle struck a 2014 GMC Sierra pickup truck driven southbound on Route 309 by William S. Reichenbach, 53, of Nesquehoning. Farrell was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, by Cetronia ambulance. Reichenbach sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention, troopers said. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Troopers cited Farrell for a stop sign violation.
