A Lycoming County driver sustained a minor injury in a one-vehicle crash along Interstate 81 in West Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County, at 8:22 a.m. Sunday.

State police at Frackville said Edward W. Aldridge 54, of Jersey Shore, was driving a 2001 Ford F150 pickup southbound when he failed to negotiate a slight left curve in the road. The truck went on to a weigh station on ramp and hit construction barriers and then a steel gate. After impact the truck went down a small embankment where it struck a tree with the front end and came to rest.

Aldridge was taken by Ryan Township ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton Campus, for treatment. He was cited for the crash.
