Arts Community of Easton announces arts tour

The public is invited to discover art where it starts in the arts and dining district of Easton, where artists’ studios, galleries and museums open their doors on the weekend of April 21-22 for a free tour. Go behind the scenes with opportunities to talk to artists and enjoy a firsthand look at their creative process.

Participants can pick up their tour maps at the Arts Community of Easton tent in Centre Square, or at any of the participating locations, and set out on a self-guided tour between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Sponsored by Arts Community of Easton in conjunction with Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and the Lehigh Valley Arts Council, the arts tour is in its 20th year and features more than 50 artists whose work can be viewed and purchased at 24 locations throughout the downtown neighborhood.

The tour also supports and educates the community by making it possible to explore local fine art and fine craft in a broad range of media and styles, to encounter artists and makers in their work environments, and to learn the hows and whys that drive creativity and innovation.
