State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating two crashes on March 21 on Schuylkill County roadways.

A one-vehicle crash was reported at 7:03 a.m.

Troopers said Elisa M. Klee, 35, of Shenandoah, was driving a 2011 Toyota Camry southbound on Interstate 81 in Butler Township when she lost control on the snow-covered road. The Toyota spun around several times and then struck the guide rail along the east berm. After impact with the guide rail, the Toyota was able to driven from the east berm to the west berm where the vehicle came to rest.

Klee was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital South, Pottsville.

A two-vehicle crash was reported at 1 p.m. at the intersection of Route 61 and Tumbling Run Road, in North Manheim Township.

Troopers said Jack Tola, 58, of New Ringgold, was westbound on Tumbling Run Road and stopped at the intersection with Route 61. Tola then pulled out from the stop sign on the snow-covered road and attempted to make a left turn onto Route 61 and entered the right lane instead of the left lane. His 2006 Hyundai Sonota was struck by a 2016 Honda CRV driven by Venassa I. Caravan, 62, of Schuylkill Haven, who was southbound in the right lane.

Upon impact the Sonota spun clockwise and traveled from the right lane to the west berm. The CRV traveled up a slight embankment sideways along the west berm.

Tola, Caravan and her passenger, Jody L. Cooper, 49, also of Schuylkill Haven, were all not injured.
