A Carbon County driver was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Lehigh County in which she was the victim.

State police at Fogelsville said Sharon K. Persaud, 31, of Nesquehoning, was driving a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country westbound on Route 22 in South Whitehall Township, when she stopped in a lane of travel at 6:16 a.m. on March 6. The driver in front of her began to back up with the rear bumper hitting the front left passenger side bumper of Persaud’s vehicle.

After impact the other driver fled the scene. Persaud was not injured and damages to her vehicle were considered minor.
