Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches are expected.

Unnecessary travel this afternoon and evening is still strongly discouraged! Snow will have a better chance of sticking to the pavement after

sundown. 

The forecast for the rest of the week: 

Tonight: Snow, mainly before 1am. Low around 28. North wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. 

Thursday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. 

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph. 

Friday: A slight chance of rain and snow showers after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Northwest wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 40.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38.
