State police at Lehighton investigate incidents

State police at Lehighton are investigating the following incidents of criminal mischief.

• A criminal mischief incident that took place between 5 and 10 p.m. Saturday in Ross Township. The victim is a 55-year-old resident of Chestnut Drive North in the township. Police said several mailboxes were damaged in the area.

• State police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 8 p.m. March 7 and 12:30 p.m. March 8on Kunkletown Road in Eldred Township. Police said the victim is a 48-year-old woman from Kunkletown who reported someone damaged her black 2012 GMC Acadia.

• A 56-year-old Effort man is the victim of a criminal mischief incident that was reported to police at 5:38 p.m. Feb. 23 on Dorshimer Road in Polk Township. State police said the suspect arrived at the that location and caused damage to the victim’s farm field with his or her pickup truck.

• State police are investigating a criminal mischief incident whereby someone fired a gun at a home in Towamensing Township. The incident happened between Feb. 21 and March 1 along Preacher’s Camp Road. The victim is a 40-year-old Hershey man. He said someone fired the weapon, resulting in the bullet striking a window of the residence.

• A Bowmanstown man reported someone damaged the side door to his home in an incident that took place between 8:30 p.m. March 4 and 9:06 p.m. March 6. The victim is a 35-year-old man from the 300 block of Ore Street.

• State police said a burglar fled a home in Kunkletown Borough when the victim arrived at the home in the 100 block of Dogwood Lane. The incident happened between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 21. The intruder entered the residence through a broken window.
