Soup and Scripture

This week’s Lenten Soup and Scripture will be held at 6 o’clock tonight at St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Street. Following the light meal, there will be a by discussion on economics.

Class breakfast

Jim Thorpe High School graduating class of 1967 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Monday at the Boulevard Restaurant, Route 443, Lehighton.

Gold Tickets

The L.B. Morris Elementary School has announced the newest students to be given Gold Tickets. They are Garrett Eaton, Ralph Clay, Gaetano Sarnelli, Cristalee Valdez, Sam Spang, Mary Rae Harrison, Vincent Magiamele, Avery Balliet, Julian Finsel and Brooke Mitzen.

Community dinner

March 25 is the next free community dinner, which will be served at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. The Easter ham dinner will be served from 4 to 6 p.m. For more information, call 570-325-2241.
