Out of power? PPL will reimburse for ice, water

The process by which our customers can obtain ice and water following emergency storms has changed.

Customers who have been without power for 24 hours or more as a result of emergency storms can now purchase ice and water from any local vendor at their expense and send PPL the receipts. PPL will provide a credit to customer's accounts.

This replaces the previous system in which customers had to obtain ice and water from specific vendors in their area. This system offers customers more flexibility.

Each customer can purchase a maximum of three 10-pound bags of ice and three gallons of water per day. Additional purchases will not be eligible for an account credit.
