Access device fraud reports under investigation

Three access device fraud cases are being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

• It was reported on Feb. 20 when the victim, a 75-year-old Kunkletown man, went to the police barracks and reported a man, unknown age and residence, used his credit card to make fraudulent purchases.

• Police said there are two suspects in the second case, which happened between 7 a.m. Jan. 10 and 8 p.m. Jan. 28 at on West Sherwood Drive, Polk Township. The victim is a 53-year-old Kunkletown man, who reported someone used stolen credit card information to Western Union money from his account. The suspects are a 37-year-old man from Kunkletown and a 41-year-old man from Analomink.

• A 56-year-old woman, also of Sherwood Drive, Polk Township, is the victim in the third case, which happened between Feb. 22-23. Police did not provide any details about the incident.
