State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of two prescription medication pill containers from a residence in Carbon County.

Troopers said David Allen Smith, 59, of 218 White St., Weissport, reported the theft incident on Feb. 14. He said the pills were taken sometime that day between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
