LCCC will resume classes today after threat Tuesday night

Lehigh Carbon Community College announced on social media Tuesday night that it was closing campuses because of an unspecified threat.

At 5:30 p.m. the college announced it was closing the Donnelly campus. Shortly after that, the college closed all campuses.

Students and staff were instructed not to report to campus, and all activities were canceled for the evening.

LCCC has branches in Jim Thorpe, Tamaqua, Schnecksville and Lehigh Valley locations. 

Allentown police are investigating.

All campuses were reopened today.
