State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle crash at 10:33 a.m. on Tuesday along Route 61 in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Kara L. Greiss, 22, of Blandon, Berks County, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu southbound in the left lane when her vehicle hit a patch of ice causing her to lose control. The Malibu then struck a 1999 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Burton D. Schaeffer, 61, of Auburn, who was in the right lane. After impact the Jeep went onto the berm and struck the guide rail with the right front end. The Malibu traveled off the road after impact and struck a guide rail on the right side. Both vehicles came to rest against the guide rail.

No one was injured but both vehicles had to be towed.
