A snow emergency will be in effect in Lansford Borough starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Starting at that time, there will be no parking on Front Street, Kline Avenue, Snyder Avenue and Water Street. Parking on the south side of Patterson Street (even address side) will also be banned.

Vehicles that are not moved by 7 a.m. will be towed.

After 7 a.m., the snow emergency will remain in effect until further notice.

Police advise travelers on Route 209 to use snow tires, chains, or all-wheel drive.
