Firefighters from several communities are on scene at a fully involved fire on the 700 block of South Street in Jim Thorpe.

Crews were dispatched at 6 p.m. to 707 South St.

 A fire chief arrived on scene and found heavy fire.

A second alarm was called.

Crews included him Thorpe, Penn Forest, Nesquehoning, Lansford, Summit Hill, Lehighton, Mahoning Valley ambulance for rehab, multiple Lehighton ALS units.

A firefighter was injured with an ankle injury while climbing a ladder. Another person was taken to the hospital.

Crews are still on scene at this time.
