A snow-covered Schuylkill County road was the cause of a one-vehicle crash about 5:16 p.m. on Wednesday.

State police at Frackville said Wayne E. Beck, 62, of Akron, Ohio, was driving a 2016 Jeep Patriot southbound on Burma Road in Blythe Township, when he lost control due to road conditions. The Jeep traveled onto the west berm and on top of the guide rail for about 50 feet. The Jeep came to final rest on top of the guide rail facing south.

Beck was not injured. He was cited for the crash.
