Slatington citations

Slatington police reported on the following arrests made by officers recently.

• Austin Schellhamer, 19, of 2176 Mountain Road, Slatington, was cited for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 7:48 Jan. 4 at a vehicle stop at West Franklin Street and Long Alley.

• On Jan. 5 at 6:29 p.m. police responded to a Pine Tree Drive location for an unwanted person report. As a result, Corrie Becker, 53, and LeAnn Becker, 48, both of 4678 Poplar Drive, Walnutport, were cited for criminal trespass.

• On Jan. 13 about 9:58 p.m. police responded to a Center Street location for a reported domestic disturbance. Nino Ianelli, 40, of that address, was arrested for simple assault and harassment by physical contact.

• On Monday at 4:38 p.m. police came upon a disabled vehicle at Main and Walnut streets. David Locher, 48, of 62 S. Second St., Slatington, was cited for disorderly conduct.

• On Monday, at 11:43 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted at Chestnut and Center streets for a traffic violation. John Neff Sr., 51, of 8746 Route 873, Slatington, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle with an expired inspection. At the same incident, Kelly Mason, 48, of 362 Main St., Slatington, was cited for obstruction of administration of law.

• On Dec. 8 at 1:41 a.m. in the 800 block of Main Street, Strider Sutton, 34, of 6325 Lock Lane, Slatington, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while operating privilege is suspended, operating a vehicle with an expired registration and drivers required to be licensed.

• Rodnie Gruber, 44, of 52 Dowell St., Slatington, was charged with firearms not to be possessed without a license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct. The incident occurred at 2:15 a.m. Dec. 9 at his residence.

• A traffic stop was conducted at 7:44 p.m. Dec. 10 at Second and Kuntz streets. As a result, Dana Moser, 24, of 317 First St., Slatington, was charged with altered, forged, counterfeit documents and plates, operating a vehicle without inspection and general lighting requirements.

• On Dec. 21 at 8:09 p.m. at Chestnut and Diamond streets. Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and found Crystal Kistler, 58, of 408 Chestnut St., Slatington, passed out while seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with the engine running. Police woke her up and she appeared to be impaired. She was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence and was taken to the Lehigh County DUI Center for a blood draw. Test results indicated the presence of a controlled substance. She was charged with DUI of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
