Schuylkill women cited for theft

Two Schuylkill County women has been cited for shoplifting at a Schuylkill County business.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Kimberly Endicott, 46, of Frackville, entered the Weiss Market in the Pottsville Plaza Mall, located off Route 61 in Norwegian Township, around 8:30 p.m. on Monday and placed numerous items into a shopping bag. She then exited the store without paying for the items and was stopped by store loss prevention personnel.

At 9:15 p.m. Monday, Renee Austerberry, 31, of Saint Clair, was observed placing items in a shopping cart at the market and then taking several of the items from the cart and placing them in a shoulder bag. She took the remaining items in the cart to the checkout and then told the clerk she had forgotten her credit card.

She then proceeded to leave the store with the items still in the shoulder bag.

While being placed under arrest police found her to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance. Because of prior retail thefts, she was charged with that count as a felony three, and also two drug counts.
