A Monroe County woman is in custody on an arrest warrant.

At 11:43 p.m. Thursday, Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Falstaff Drive and Hamlet Drive, Tobyhanna, for a report of a woman who said she was stranded and needed a ride.

Debbie Santiago-Quinones, 30, of Mount Pocono, who said that she was riding in a vehicle with her husband, and they had an argument.

She said that he pulled the car over and told her to get out and then drove off.

The woman requested police give her a ride to a nearby motel.

Upon running a check on her, police discovered she had an active warrant for her arrest out of Lehigh County.

She was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Correctional facility.
