Toolshed Jack will appear in concert at the Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua, from 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 6.

The event is an American Cancer Society benefit for Carson Barron.

The band includes Maggie B, vocals and tambourine; Steve-O, bass, vocals, 12-step keyboard; Brian Todd, keyboard, trumpet, vocals; Tommy, drums, percussion; and Joel D, guitar, vocals.

Originally formed as a four-member male band in 1997, the group is based in Pottsville and annually plays for the Carbon Tamaqua American Cancer Society Telethon.
