Schuylkill County court — probation

Schuylkill County judges have placed on probation four people charged by local police.

Ryan M. Daniels

, 36, no address available, was charged by Tamaqua police with possession of a weapon, recklessly endangering another person, use of firearms restricted, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and similar misconduct on April 4.

Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin placed Daniels on probation for 12 months on the weapons charge, and fined him $100 for the conduct charge. The other charges were dropped.

Frances M. Padilla

, 36, of Freeland, was charged by McAdoo police with corruption of minors, conspiracy — simple assault, and disorderly conduct on Aug. 1, 2016.

Dolbin placed her on probation for one year on the conspiracy charge and six months probation on the conduct charge, to be served consecutively.

The corruption charge was dropped.

Walter J. Deetz

, 47, of Barnesville, was charged by state police at Schuylkill Haven with retail theft and receiving stolen property on May 22, 2015.

Judge James P. Goodman placed him on probation for 12 months on the receiving charge. The theft charge was dropped.

Rachelle L. Cassidy

, 32, of Pottsville, was charged by Tamaqua police with terroristic threats and harassment on Jan. 14.

Goodman placed her on probation for 24 months on the threats charge. The harassment charge was dropped.

Cassidy was also charged, again by Tamaqua police, with simple assault and harassment on Jan. 22.

Goodman placed her on 24 months probation on the assault charge. The harassment charge was dropped.
