Three people were injured, two slightly, in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:58 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of routes 443 and 183, in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Danielle P. Satterwhite, 37, of Cressona, was stopped for a red light on 183 when her foot slipped off the brake and her 2013 Ford Escape drifted into the intersection and into the path Denise M. Fucco, 54, of Schuylkill Haven, who was westbound on 443 and had the green light. Fucco attempted to avoid a collision but her 2000 Toyota Camry struck the Escape.

Satterwhite was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville. Fucco and her passenger, Dolores Faust, 72, of Orwigsburg, sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Troopers cited Satterwhite for a traffic control signals violation.
