State police at Lehighton have reported on the following incidents.

• A forgery case in Eldred Township was reported to state police at noon Dec. 3. The victim is a Kunkletown man who reported a Kunkletown woman filled out and signed a check that did not belong to her. The incident happened in the 200 block of Butternut Drive in the township.

• State police are investigating the theft of a Mr. Heater Little Buddy propane heater from a tree stand on a property in Eldred Township. The victim is a 70-year-old man from Wind Gap who reported someone stole the heater from the stand on his property in the area of Correll Road and Locust Drive in the township.
