Vehicle stop leads to DUI, wanted person

A vehicle stop along Interstate 80 in Butler Township, Schuylkill County, led to the arrest of a Schuylkill County driver for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and also as a wanted person.

State police at Frackville said the stop occurred at 1:06 p.m. on Nov. 4. Dustin Donton, 28, of Donaldson, was found to be under the influence of suspected marijuana. He submitted to a blood test at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pottsville campus. The test results were positive for marijuana.

At the stop troopers learned that Donton was wanted on an arrest warrant out of Lebanon County sheriff’s office. He was taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Pottsville on the warrant.
