Amber Breiner from the Carbon County Community Foundation and Melissa Hawk, director of the Lehighton Area Memorial Library, stand in front of one of the newly refurbished doors at the library. The foundation awarded a $1,000 matching grant to the library this past spring for the repair and replacement of the exterior doors to the library. Thanks to this matching grant, the library was recently able to have the work completed by Builders Doors and Windows of Allentown. The doors will be painted by library volunteers. The CCCF was founded in 2015 to support area nonprofit organizations that enhance the quality of life for county residents. The library gratefully acknowledges the CCCF grant. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
